Electric vehicles are better than internal combustion engine-powered vehicles for many reasons – but if you can’t see them, you won’t get any help from your hearing.

Accordingly, we suggest that they be provided with a sound so that we hear them coming. It is roughly the same principle that already exists for reversing trucks.

Ideally, of course, you can agree on a sound that is common to as many electric vehicles as possible, so people with visual impairments have a chance to learn that “here comes a vehicle”.
